Management Advisor and Binational Project Coordinator
Lawyer by the Universidad de San Martín de Porres and Master in Environmental Management and Sustainability by the UPC, with specialization in Corporate Crime by the Universidad de Salamanca - Spain. He has more than twelve years of professional experience in the public sector, specializing in environmental justice, environmental management, environmental crimes and infractions and project management. He was part of the team of the Public Prosecutor's Office Specialized in Environmental Crimes, in the Presidency of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Evaluation and Control Agency (OEFA) and of the Environmental Crimes Functional Unit (Unida) of the Ministry of Environment. He was also part of USAID's Prevenir project, aimed at combating environmental crimes in the Peruvian Amazon.
He has been responsible for coordinating with authorities at the three levels of government with competence in environmental matters and has promoted policies and regulations on environmental justice and the environment. He is the author of several academic articles on the treatment of environmental crimes that have served as inputs for the development of regulatory projects, co-author of academic publications on environmental justice and environmental defenders, national and international lecturer on environmental law and sustainability. In addition, he has experience in teaching courses at various national and international universities.
