Information Management Leader

Graduated from the Graduate School of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, specializing in Forest Resources Conservation. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in the development of conservation projects in the Peruvian Amazon, with emphasis on ecological assessments, research for the definition of Priority Areas for Conservation, planning for ecoregional and site conservation, management of Natural Protected Areas, analysis of threats and modeling of future scenarios, adaptation and vulnerability to climate change and development of tools and models for the analysis of forest cover loss through remote sensing.

He also has thirteen years of experience in university teaching and has participated in courses for conservation professionals in charge of the management of Natural Areas Protected by the State, in conferences organized by the National Institute of Natural Resources (Inrena), as well as in lectures on natural protected areas and environmental conservation to high school students. He knows and manages Geographic Information Systems tools and instructs university students in their use and application.
